  2. No I didn't know them. There was something about the headstone though. It was interesting that the oval outlined where a casket would be. The ground in the middle was neglected and I assume flowers used to grow there. It was lonely. It was a husband and wife who were both born in the mid 1800's. They died in the early 1900's several years apart. The husband outlived his wife. I guess they were stacked one on top of the other, much like they do in military cemeteries for husband and wives. It appeared that nobody had visited that grave for some time, and it made me wonder why such an elaborate headstone when they were already forgotten.
